Vigorously Develop Sericulture In Dali, Yunnan

It is reported that this special fund is mainly used for mulberry mulberry grafting seedlings, agricultural film purchase, low yield mulberry garden transformation support, training of silkworm farmers in mulberry cultivation technology, comparative trials of silkworm varieties and demonstration and extension of new varieties and new technologies; supporting silkworm breeding quality quarantine section construction in silkworm production, and supporting and perfecting sericulture, mulberry seedling quality detection, pest and disease prevention and prediction service system construction in sericulture production process.

According to the annual plan of Yunnan mulberry garden construction, Dali Prefecture mainly built 4 to 5 high yield demonstration plots in Heqing County, Xiangyun County and Yongping County. The total area of each county is not less than 5000 mu. After the completion of the project, the average quality of silkworm cocoons with mulberry mulberry production is more than 150 kilograms.

The implementation of this project will play a positive role in accelerating the process of agricultural industrialization in Dali, promoting the development of Dali's sericulture industry to scale and integration, enhancing the quality of sericultural materials and products, expanding the employment channels for farmers and increasing their incomes.
