Binzhou: Building A World Class Efficient Ecological Textile Industry Base

Binzhou has gradually built a complete industrial system of cotton spinning, dyeing and finishing, home textile, carpet, clothing, chemical fiber and other categories, forming the only textile industry cluster with a level of over 100 billion to the north of the Yangtze River.

The development advantages are as follows:

First, cluster scale advantage. The production capacity of the main textile products in the city has continued to grow and the variety of products is rich, covering chemical fiber, spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, home textile and industrial products. There are 178 Textile Enterprises above Designated Size in the city.

Second, leading enterprises drive advantages. Weiqiao group has 2 listed textile enterprises (Weiqiao group and Huafang Co., Ltd.); Weiqiao group has been selected as the world's largest cotton textile enterprise for 9 consecutive years; Huafang Co., Ltd. has been rated as the "top 10 enterprises" in the printing and dyeing industry by China printing and Dyeing Industry Association for nine consecutive years; pleasant home textile ranks the third among the top ten textile enterprises in China; Yaguang home textile is the largest towel manufacturer in Asia, ranking the top two in the same industry in China; Dongfang carpet and Ruixin group are both "top ten leading brands in China carpet industry". It will play a positive role in promoting the development of the whole industrial cluster.

The third is the advantage of technical strength. The whole industry has 2 national enterprise technology centers (Yaguang and Huafang), 1 "national accreditation laboratory" (CNAs) (Yaguang), 1 National Quality Inspection Center (Binzhou Laboratory of national ecological textile quality supervision and inspection center), 1 National Household Textile Testing Center (Huafang), and 7 provincial enterprise technology centers. Six enterprises, including Huafang, Dongfang carpet and Yaguang Home Textile Co., Ltd., have respectively undertaken the national standard formulation of printing and dyeing, blanket, quilt, canvas, rope net and circular economy industries.
