Despite the continuous impact of the epidemic, the domestic cotton textile industry has been in serious predicament. But with the gradual improvement of domestic production and rehabilitation, Henan textile enterprises are gradually getting rid of it. Recently, the textile industry in Henan is showing signs of warming, and the production and sales situation is better than other regions.

A textile company in Xinxiang said that it was actively loading at full capacity, and that the high priced cotton purchased before the Spring Festival was basically used. Now the low price spinning of the cotton is selling at a price, and the profits are greatly improved. In the early April, there was a certain difficulty in the production and marketing of enterprises. Originally planned to have a holiday during the May 1 period, but in fact, the production and marketing situation of the enterprises was better than expected, and the cotton yarn inventory remained normal. The turnover period lasted for 15-20 days. If the inventory increased, the price would be sold immediately if the price was slightly reduced.

Although the textile industry in Henan shows signs of improvement, the situation of textile production in the whole country is still not optimistic. According to customs statistics, in April 2020, China's textile and clothing exports amounted to US $21 billion 361 million, an increase of 38.43%, an increase of 9.77% over the same period last year. Among them, exports of textiles (including textile yarns, fabrics and articles) amounted to $14 billion 620 million 700 thousand, an increase of 49.36% over the same period last year. The increase was mainly due to the surge in exports of masks. The exports of garments (including clothing and accessories) were 6 billion 739 million 900 thousand US dollars, down 30.31% from the same period last year, and the data in April also showed a decline, indicating that the recovery of downstream demand is still slow, and the textile industry is recovering. It still takes time.
