Jingdong Reached Home Two Years, GMV Increased By 660%, More Than 2 Stores

A few days ago, Jingdong revealed the development strategy of pharmaceutical health business in 2019, which will continue to enrich online pharmaceutical SKU and promote cooperation with Jingdong Internet hospital.

The Jingdong health care channel has reached strategic cooperation with more than 90% head chain medicine companies nationwide. There are more than 400 cooperative businesses, more than 2 online pharmacies, covering 63 cities.

Meanwhile, Jingdong's GMV in December 2018 increased by 660% compared with two years ago, and orders grew by 540%.

Drug category has been covered by standing drugs, and the average number of stores SKU is more than 2000.

According to the introduction, in 2019, Jingdong's health care business continued to grow, and the total membership of GMV would account for half of the total GMV.

Liu Xu, director of the broad market department of Hai Wang Xing Chen pharmacy, said: "in 2018, the amount of orders for the purchase of Jingdong in London increased by more than 3 times over the same period in 2017, and GMV grew by 3.5 times compared with that of the previous year. At present, there are 1800 stores on the line and Jingdong is home."

According to Li Zhitang, director of medical health at Jingdong, member service has become one of the directions of Jingdong's health care in 2019.

At present, the Jingdong has arrived at home with all 26 members of the chain store, such as Da Lin Lin, Yi Xin Tang, Yi Feng, Bai Kang, Rui Cheng and Wan Jiayan, to open up all members, and support a series of members' rights and interests sharing, including membership, freight free, membership price and member days. The number of members has reached tens of millions.

Take the Bai Kang pharmacy as an example, after achieving the membership with Jingdong, in January this year, the per capita GMV of Bai Kang increased by 31.45% compared with that of non members, and the average GMV increased by 99.51% on the 30 day before admission and 30 days after the accession.

According to Jingdong's home side, this year's Jingdong will continue to enrich the online drug SKU, increase more drugs for chronic diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and promote strategic cooperation with Jingdong Internet hospital. Attention should be paid to the time limit for the delivery of contracts, the development of night delivery, and the extension of the 24 hour drug delivery service coverage.
