In recent years, the county has been led by the animal husbandry center and has joined the relevant departments to promote the construction of the base.

At present, there are nearly 20 yellow cattle cold improvement stations, and 2 beef cattle trading markets with an annual turnover of more than ten million. The official mountain beef cattle fattening demonstration farm has been built, and a number of excellent varieties such as Li Sheng beef and Simmental dairy cattle have been introduced. The key cattle raising towns such as Huai Zhong, Luxi and Longmen have been planned and built, and more than 2500 large families of beef cattle such as Wang Zhenquan and Wang Dongru have been bred, thus providing strong resources support for the whole county's Cowhide industry.

Xin sun tanning is an agricultural project investment enterprise introduced from Shenzhen. It mainly manufactures and sells all kinds of automobiles and household leather.

The company has its own beef cattle breeding base. The base provides high yield, good quality, fast growing cattle varieties and breeding technology. The company contracts to recycle cattle into deep processing, undertaking most of the breeding cost and market risk, and promoting the development of cattle raising industry in large areas.

Ganlong shoes company and Longmen leather case factory, with the operation mode of "company + association + peasant household", have driven more than 30 cattle processing sites and more than 80 large processing households in Shatin village of Longmen town. This has led to a series of famous brand names such as "Ganlong brand" leather shoes, "cuckoo brand" leather suitcases, and so on, so that the market share of leather products has risen sharply.

Since last year, the county has grasped the advantages of QUANNAN Expressway and Ji Cha Heng railway, and built a leather industrial park on the barren hill slope of maipin, resulting in a huge "magnetic field effect". A large number of merchants and groups of leather goods and leather products have been settled in the garden area. Merchants from all walks of life have been stationed in Yongxin for "cowhide gold".

In July, only a group of "cowhide" merchants in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, formed Ou Hua industrial group, invested 5 hundred million, entered the industrial park, and developed 6 blue wet leather enterprises. They mainly produce leather goods such as genuine leather suitcases, genuine leather shoes and genuine cowhide sofas.

According to incomplete statistics, the main business income of leather industry in the county has reached more than 170 million yuan, and 25 thousand farmers have been engaged in beef cattle breeding and leather processing.
