95% Zero Tariff On Textiles

Since January 1st, the Cross Strait Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) has launched the second stage tax reduction under the early harvest items. Mainland exports to Taiwan Spin Products with the original tax rate of 7.5% and below, which account for 95% of the total number of goods harvested early, enjoy zero tariff. According to ECFA, the products exported from mainland to Taiwan are reduced to 2.5% except 14 original tax rates of over 7.5%. The products with the original tax rate of 7.5% and below accounted for 95% of the total number of early harvested goods. Enjoy zero tariff The specific products of the treatment are textiles, petrochemicals, machinery, transportation and so on.

Since its implementation in January 1st last year, ECFA has brought many benefits to Chinese enterprises. According to statistics, only 4499 copies of the preferential inspection certificate issued by the inspection and quarantine department in Zhanjiang District of Guangdong last year amounted to about 290 million US dollars, and the import and export tariff of enterprises was reduced by about 96 million 120 thousand yuan.

It is reported that at present, China is building 16 free trade zones with 33 countries and regions. 10 FTA agreements have been signed, namely, the FTA between China and ASEAN, Pakistan, Chile, New Zealand, Singapore, Peru and Costa Rica, the Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement between Mainland China and Hongkong and Macao, and the framework agreement on cross strait economic cooperation with Taiwan. There are 6 free trade zones under construction, namely, China and the Gulf Cooperation Council, Australia, Norway, Switzerland, the southern African Customs Union and the Iceland free trade area. The Asia Pacific trade agreement has also been added.

Affected by the international financial crisis and the European debt crisis, the export situation of our country is very severe this year.
