COO's "heroic" resignation has saved its "trust crisis" caused by thousands of Chinese suppliers' fraud. The anti counterfeiting operation against the virtual Internet world is deepening in China.

By the end of 2010, the number of Internet users in China has reached 457 million, the largest number of Internet users in the world.

The growing popularity of China's Internet promotes the development of e-commerce market, brings great convenience to people's lifestyle, and brings a series of problems, such as internet infringement and Internet fraud. The phenomenon of "Internet infringement" has even threatened the healthy development of China's e-commerce.

According to statistics from the Internet Information Center, China's online shopping users reached 161 million, an increase of 41.6% over the same period last year, and the annual network market paction was 523 billion 100 million yuan.

The announcement from China's Internet crime and bad information reporting center recently announced that only 391111 times were reported to the public last year, of which 23.8% were reported by Internet fraud.

Fake and inferior

At present, the phenomenon is already a problem that can not be ignored. Its development is not only a threat to the interests of the more than 100 million Internet consumers, but also a loss to the reputation of the Internet.

The US Trade Representative Office recently released a blacklist of websites that sell counterfeit and pirated products, and China's Taobao and other websites and entities are among them.

It is reported that registered users have reached 370 million of Taobao last year spent huge sums of money against counterfeiting, within a year directly delete 5 million 710 thousand pieces of infringing goods.

The US trade representative's office also acknowledged that Taobao had made great efforts in combating counterfeit and shoddy products, but seemed unsatisfied with the current results.

In March 14th, Taobao announced that it would jointly hold 89 online brands, including LV, GUCCI, apple and SWAROVSKI, and organized a special anti-counterfeiting team.

"Taobao's network rights protection action will form a system and carry out regularly. Once the online sale is verified, the information of the seller will be blacklisted and the qualification of Taobao will be cancelled for life."

Qiao Beirui, head of Public Relations Department of Taobao, told Xinhua.

Fraud in the virtual world such as counterfeiting and selling has attracted the attention of China's top officials.

At this year's national two sessions, the "network crackdown" has entered the vision of the government work report, highlighting China's determination to crack down on internet infringement.

In a report on the work of the Chinese government, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council proposed that in 2011, we should "actively develop new service formats such as e-commerce, online shopping and geographic information". At the same time, we stressed the need to carry out "special measures to combat intellectual property rights violations and manufacture and sale of fake and shoddy commodities".

China has promulgated the "Regulations on the protection of the right to the dissemination of information network" since 2006. In July last year, China launched a "swordfish action" to combat Internet piracy.

Recently, the Supreme People's court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Ministry of Public Security jointly issued the opinions on Several Issues concerning the application of law in criminal cases of infringing intellectual property rights.

As a new thing, the "network fake group", which is set up by the folk, has also developed in full swing in China. It has formed a "popular fake" upsurge on the Internet.

According to Huang Xiangru, the head of the "anti Lu she alliance", China's first network fake group, the team composed of more than 20 Internet companies spontaneously formed two years ago. Since January this year, it has started to fight against fake products. At present, it has received more than 7000 complaints, involving more than 400 brands.

Chen Baolong, a lawyer who has worked in the court for many years, said that if we want to fundamentally control the selling behavior on the Internet, it is the most important thing to strengthen supervision. The key is that the parties concerned should not "wrangle each other" to form a combating force.

"For example, for Taobao and other related aspects, we should thoroughly explore the registered owners of the network, establish archives, strengthen registration and examination, and strictly control the quality of the products sold.

For the public security organs, we should pay attention to collecting evidence of "fake and shoddy" phenomenon on the Internet in the usual supervision work, and immediately implement the administrative penalty, so as to constitute a crime, we should immediately take judicial coercive measures.

From the perspective of legal profession, the sale of products through the Internet is a contract of sale and has already constituted the crime of contract fraud.

A number of legal persons interviewed said that the definition and sentencing of online selling behavior in China is still not perfect in legislation or related judicial interpretations. It is urgent to study and accelerate the promotion of e-commerce legislation.

It is worth noting that in the statistics of Internet fraud, "false rights protection and complaint websites" are also reported, and the number has increased.

"The counterfeiting is also a fake" phenomenon, which makes consumers confused.

"Before, I also complained through the website of rights protection, but now the complaints website has been complained, and I really don't know who to believe."

Ma Yukun, who has been online shopping for three years, said.

Here, an insider who asked not to be named, said that due to the low threshold and multiple registration of rights protection websites, there are many websites that rely on hanging some enterprises. They charge fees by repeatedly reloading the same complaint content and repeatedly deleting posts.

"If every consumer can resist the temptation of low price and famous brand, and set up enough awareness of self-protection and protection of intellectual property rights, even in the virtual world, there will be no escape from fake things."

Chen Baolong told reporters.
