In late February, the highest price of standard grade lint was around 31500 yuan per ton, approaching new cotton since last year.

Cotton spinning enterprises have already arranged, to ensure the use of cotton after the festival and even in the first quarter, it has been replenishment years ago.

Some textile factories which use large amount of cotton also take various ways such as contract locking and incoming processing to ensure the normal supply of cotton for production.

At present, most cotton spinning enterprises in the county have a 1-2 month range of lint stock and will not affect production in the near future due to the slow pace of procurement.

Therefore, in response to the high cotton prices after the festival, cotton spinning enterprises are indifferent and eager to replenishment.

After the Spring Festival holiday, although there are also cotton enterprises in the county, including the field, to explore the price of the goods, but because the bargaining gap between the buyers and the sellers is relatively large, and there is no deal with each other.

According to the survey, by the end of February, nearly 80% of the total cotton business inventory in the county was more than 4000 tons, accounting for 12% of the annual purchase volume.

In the past 3 months since the beginning of last December to the end of February this year, there has not been a bag yet.

From the current market trend analysis, this situation will not change significantly in the near future.
