Qipao originated in Shenyang. As the "old capital of Qipao", Qipao culture has a profound historical accumulation and a broad mass base in Shenyang. As the cultural landmark of Shenyang, Laobei City has a history of nearly 400 years. With its unique architecture of the Republic of China and rich historical and cultural heritage, Laobei City provides an excellent stage for the cheongsam show.

This special performance, with the theme of "Art Sculpting the East", deeply explored the national tide culture and gave a modern interpretation of the oriental aesthetics. That night, with the music, models in various cheongsam gracefully walked onto the stage. They are either dignified, charming or fresh, showing the charm of cheongsam incisively and vividly. Under the guidance of music, every cheongsam on the stage seems to have a life. They dance lightly, telling ancient and modern stories. The perfect integration of cheongsam and national trend, the cross-border collision of traditional folk music and international pop music, together demonstrated a fashionable feast of oriental narrative.

This cheongsam show specially invited a number of well-known designers, who showed the unique design of cheongsam on site. Zhong Yueyan, a Gaoshi cheongsam designer, said that she brought 15 pieces of clothing with two themes. One theme is to show Zhonggong embroidery in black and black, while the other theme is to make bold attempts and innovations in traditional cheongsam, so that the audience can feel the brand new cheongsam style that completely subverts the traditional impression.

Chen Minghui, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the Heping District Party Committee of Shenyang, said that Shenyang, as the "old capital of cheongsam", carries profound cultural heritage and historical memory.
