The Environmental Protection Public Welfare Hiking Activity Was Successfully Held In Zhejiang Tianmu Mountain World Nature Reserve

From July 31 to August 1, as one of the series activities of the "Sustainable Innovation" ESG theme exhibition, an environmental protection public welfare hiking activity with the theme of "I am a patrolman" was successfully held in Zhejiang Tianmu Mountain World Nature Reserve. This activity was initiated by GFS Sustainable Fashion Technology Alliance and was strongly supported by Zhejiang Tianmu Mountain World Nature Reserve under the MAB "Man and the Biosphere" Program of UNESCO. The event invited the surface and auxiliary materials manufacturers, designers and brand representatives from the textile and clothing industry to participate together. We hope that you can enhance the awareness and participation of natural ecological protection by personally experiencing the daily work of the inspectors. At the same time, this activity will also use sustainable materials from YKK and FLYTEC, and the designers and brands will jointly create "green patrol clothing" and make donations.

　　 The first day of the activity was the 17th "International Patrol Day". Under the leadership of Mr. Ma Shiyu, an experienced staff of Tianmu Mountain Protection Department, and Mr. Shen Jianwen, a forest ranger, the team members who participated in the environmental protection public welfare hiking carried out 3.5 hours of patrol work. In this process, we not only experienced the daily patrol route and work content of forest rangers, interviewed Mr. Shen, the forest ranger, but also actively participated in the mountain garbage cleaning operation to guard the green water and green mountains with practical actions. At the same time, Mr. Ma introduced the rich plant resources of Tianmu Mountain to everyone along the way, so that participants gained valuable botanical knowledge while getting close to nature, and deeply felt the importance of protecting biodiversity.

　　 The next day, the team members came to the nature education base of the Wild Earth and participated in a unique natural handicraft workshop activity. Under professional guidance, we made a "rain stick" that can simulate the sound of rain, not only experiencing the charm of traditional handicrafts, but also deeply understanding the importance of the precious and sustainable use of natural resources in the process.
