"Biomedical Fiber Products Seminar" Of Chinese Academy Of Engineering Held In Binzhou

On August 12, the third council meeting of the first session of the Medical and Health Branch of the Middle Class Association and the seminar of the "Biomedical Fiber Products and Industrial Development Strategy Research" Project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (hereinafter referred to as the "Project") were held in Binzhou, Shandong Province. The meeting was hosted by Shandong Xinyue Health Technology Co., Ltd. Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation, Yu Jianyong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Donghua University, Li Guimei, President of the China Industrial Textile Industry Association, Ji Jianbing, Vice President, Liu Yuexing, President of the Medical and Health Branch of the China Association for the Middle East (referred to as the "Branch") and Chairman of Joyful Group, Yang Yumin, President of Nantong University, Zhang Qiang, professor and chief physician of Beijing Ditan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, Wang Yujiu, president of the affiliated hospital of Binzhou Medical College and other branch directors and project team members attended the meeting. President Li Guimei and Secretary General of the branch, Professor Fang Kuanjun presided over the meeting.

President Liu Yuexing delivered the work report of the third session of the first session of the Council of the Medical and Health Branch of the Association of the Middle People, introducing the development of the medical and health textile industry and the main work of the branch in organizational construction, scientific and technological innovation, industrial chain cooperation, conferences and forums, etc. In the future, we will continue to make full use of all kinds of support policies, accelerate the opening of channels for the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, deepen the strategic cooperation with scientific research and education resources, and serve member enterprises to achieve the coordinated development of "medicine, industry, education, research, government and use".

The Chinese Academy of Engineering attaches great importance to the development strategy in the field of biomedical fiber products, and set up a special project to carry out relevant development strategy research in 2024. It hopes that through this research, the ability to ensure health services for all in this field will be improved, providing strong support for the decision-making of the state and relevant departments. At the meeting, the project team members Dr. Li Guanzhi, Professor Wang Fujun, Professor Ma Pibo and Professor Liu Yong, on behalf of the overall team, the in vivo products team, the in vitro products team and the protective products team, reported on the development status of the field, key technologies, high-quality development constraints, and described the next step of research and work plan. In the research forum, representatives from key enterprises in the industry shared their key work and challenges in product development and application promotion, and put forward several suggestions on the project. During the expert discussion, President Yang Yumin, President Wang Yujiu and Director Zhang Qiang put forward valuable suggestions on technical innovation, achievement transformation, clinical application, standard quality, evaluation and supervision, etc.

Vice President Li Lingshen pointed out that it is an urgent and strategic task for the textile industry to accelerate the self-reliance of high-level science and technology and the construction of modern industrial system in the field of biomedical fiber products in China. It is hoped that the project team will fully investigate and listen to the opinions of experts from enterprises, regulatory authorities and medical institutions, face the global advanced level and people's health needs, clarify the system and mechanism of the development of biomedical fiber industry, and put forward high-level policy recommendations to relevant national departments.

Academician Yu Jianyong pointed out in the conference summary that medical and health textiles are of great significance for ensuring people's life safety and improving health and well-being, and are also an important development direction and growth point of industrial textile industry. It is hoped that the project team will grasp the strategy of project research in the next work, further strengthen investigation and research, grasp the basic information of industry development, sort out the key technologies and key products in the field of biomedical fiber materials, benchmark the international advanced level, deeply analyze the pain points and obstacles in the industry development, and do in-depth and practical research work.

During the meeting, the guests also visited the "Life Science and Technology Museum" of Huanghe Ballad Health City and conducted field research on local enterprises.
