On November 14, the 2023 national intangible cultural heritage representative project Yao costumes production skills training class in Longsheng Autonomous County, Guilin, Guangxi, opened. The county's cultural center invited representative inheritors of "intangible cultural heritage" to teach hand in hand. More than 30 Hongyao compatriots from Longji Town, Sishui Township and Jiangdi Township gathered in Longsheng Yao Costume Learning Base to discuss and exchange skills such as batik, textile and embroidery, and jointly promote the inheritance of "intangible cultural heritage".

In 2014, Longsheng Yao (Hongyao) costumes were included in the national intangible cultural heritage protection list. In recent years, Longsheng Autonomous County of all ethnic groups has strengthened the protection and inheritance of Yao's clothing culture by promulgating and implementing the Regulations on the Protection of Folk Traditional Culture, mining representative inheritors of Yao's clothing, establishing a national clothing learning base, carrying out embroidery and textile off the job training and other measures.
