Kenya'S Cotton Output Reached The Highest Level In A Decade; Kenya; Cotton

The textile crop Association predicts that cotton production this year is expected to triple, from 10672 tons last year to 30000 tons. One of the four action plans proposed by President Kenyatta is to promote the manufacturing industry, promote farmers to plant and invest in cotton, and the association has also raised the price of cotton purchased from 46 KSHS / kg to 52 KSHS / kg.
