Recently, the research group of China Cotton Textile Industry Association went to Foshan, Guangzhou and other regions of Guangdong Province for investigation, visited yarn traders, denim clothing clusters, downstream weaving enterprises and other links of the industrial chain, and discussed and exchanged views on the operation status and demands of enterprises, mainly including the following aspects.
1. In the short term, enterprises generally reflect that the price of raw materials is unstable, which has a significant impact on the business confidence of enterprises. The recent pressure on terminal brand orders, combined with the upcoming July and August traditional off-season, textile enterprises are worried about the second quarter. It is hoped that the state should not only pay attention to the emerging industries, but also pay more attention to the cotton textile industry. It is suggested that the relevant departments should timely introduce relevant measures to stabilize the price of raw materials and boost market confidence. All the spinning enterprises interviewed said that they would support the brand building and industrial development of China's cotton, but there is still room for improvement in cotton quality. It is hoped that China's cotton industry can become a strong support for China's textile industry.
2. In the long run, enterprises are most worried about the employment problem. Under the situation of unbalanced population structure, they will face the dilemma of not recruiting workshop production personnel in the future. According to the survey, most of the young people are reluctant to go to textile factories in recent years, and the average age is increasing year by year. At present, it is about 40 years old.
3. The interviewed enterprises mainly engaged in OEM, but they all have a strong sense of brand building. They say that the lack of independent brands will affect the discourse power of the industry. These enterprises are also constantly trying to introduce brand clothing designed by themselves while OEM.
