"Our current research and development focuses on the needs of contemporary people's life, health monitoring, special environmental operations, national economic and social development and national defense construction, constantly break through the key technologies of smart textile materials such as flexible sensors, intelligent temperature regulation, micro nano devices embedded in fabrics, and actively expand the application of intelligent textile materials in wearable, household and industrial textiles Domain. " Wang Rui told reporters that the lightweight low-temperature protective gloves prepared by the team have been used in cold storage, offshore operation and other fields, and the trenchless pipeline repair materials and technologies have been localized and are constantly improving. At present, he has led the team in the research and development of fibrosis sensors and flexible batteries for monitoring heart rate and pulse, and has achieved initial results. He is seizing time to tackle key problems in the direction of industrialization.

Wang Rui has been teaching for 37 years, constantly tracking the forefront of his major and related research fields, actively carrying out scientific research, and imparting the latest academic trends and research results to students. He led his team members to concentrate on scientific research regardless of the severe cold or heat. His unremitting efforts have made him obtain fruitful achievements in scientific research: in recent years, he has successively presided over and completed more than 30 scientific research projects of the state, Tianjin and enterprises; he has published 220 academic papers, 5 books and 16 authorized patents; his scientific research achievements have reached the leading level in China, serving more than 20 related industries in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Home.
