Liubei District Of Liuzhou Held A Forum With Guangdong Textile Association

On the afternoon of December 4, Liubei district government of Liuzhou City, together with entrepreneurs from Guangdong Textile Association, gathered in Liuzhou to discuss the development plan, seek common development and exchange the development prospect of textile industry.

Leaders and guests attended the forum, including Zhang Liansong, head of Liubei district government of Liuzhou city; Li Chao, chairman of the CPPCC of Liubei district; Mo Yuhe, chairman of Liuzhou Federation of industry and commerce; Huang Feihu, vice governor of Liubei district; Li Qiu, President of Liuzhou textile and Garment Association; CAI Jinghui, executive vice president of Guangdong Textile Association; Gu Ling, Secretary General of Guangdong Textile Association.

According to reports, Liubei district has a solid foundation of clothing industry. In the mid-1980s and late 1990s, the industrial output value accounted for 16% of the industrial output value of Liuzhou City, and the industrial profits and taxes accounted for 10.2% of the industrial profits and taxes of Liuzhou city. Liubei district has the production capacity of the whole industrial chain and a large number of excellent state-owned enterprises, such as "Shifeng" brand clothing fabrics, "Haiyan", "Hualan" brand knitted sweaters, and "Jinfeng" brand towel are all well-known domestic brands.

It is understood that in December 2019, Liuzhou textile and Garment Association was officially established in Liubei District, attracting enterprises from various fields such as cotton spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, yarn dyed weaving, clothing, chemical fiber, textile machinery, education, trade and other fields to join, with 166 member enterprises. The association has organized e-commerce sharing meetings, e-commerce thinking training camp on mainstream platforms and other activities, inviting experts to train member enterprises from the aspects of building a live broadcasting environment, maintaining fans, live broadcasting operation and practical exercises, so as to drive member enterprises to seize the business opportunities of e-commerce sales and tap the potential huge profits and appreciation space.

At the forum, the two sides discussed how to give play to the comparative advantages of Liubei District, establish the main direction of industrial development, and accelerate the pace of opening up. The ideas were clear and the views were clear, which was very enlightening. Relevant entrepreneurs of Guangdong Textile Association said at the meeting that Liuzhou is a charming industrial city with solid foundation. It is an important opportunity for Guangdong textile enterprises to invest in clothing industry in Liuzhou.

It is reported that in recent years, Liubei district has actively built Guangxi Modern Clothing Industrial Park. The clothing industry park covers the whole industry chain, including clothing raw material production, deep processing, clothing production, clothing accessory products production and processing, clothing design, sales, logistics brand building and so on.
