Since last year, the U.S. government has been intervening in China's internal affairs through various political and economic means, such as the "Xinjiang related act", "entity list" and "withholding order", to suppress and disrupt Xinjiang's normal economic activities. Recently, the U.S. government issued the "Xinjiang supply chain business advisory notice", which openly deterred American enterprises and individuals from cooperating with Xinjiang on the grounds of so-called human rights and forced labor in Xinjiang.

The so-called "facts" are seriously distorted. The essence of the Xinjiang related issues is not the so-called "human rights" issue of the United States, but the issue of anti violence, terrorism and anti secession. The US government concocted the so-called "announcement" and interfered in China's internal affairs and suppressed Chinese enterprises in the form of consultation and suggestions under the banner of "human rights". We firmly oppose this. With regard to Xinjiang related issues, governments at all levels, including the people's Government of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, and relevant organizations have repeatedly introduced various measures and effects of Xinjiang's anti violence, terrorism and anti secession measures, as well as the current stable life situation of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, including the United States, through holding press conferences, inviting to visit Xinjiang for investigation, and making public videos related to terrorism. For the purpose of "distorting the facts, the government of China is trying to distort the development of China's industries".

At present, many Xinjiang textile and garment companies have been listed in the "entity list" or "withholding order" of the US government under the name of "forced labor", which has caused huge economic losses and extremely bad impact on the relevant enterprises, seriously damaged the reputation of Xinjiang and even China's cotton textile industry, and disrupted the normal production and trade order.

Xinjiang is the largest cotton producing area in China, with an annual output of about 5 million tons, accounting for more than 80% of the domestic cotton production. More than 50% of the farmers in Xinjiang grow cotton, and more than 70% of them are ethnic minorities. Cotton has become the main income source of local farmers in Xinjiang, especially in Hotan, Aksu, Kashgar, Kezhou and other Uygur areas in southern Xinjiang. Cotton planting income has accounted for more than 80% of the total agricultural income. Xinjiang's cotton textile production capacity is about 17 million spindles, and the yarn output is 1.85 million tons, providing nearly 600000 local employment.

According to the statistics of textile and apparel exports to China from US $45.2 billion in 2019. Its textile products, including those from the United States, are becoming more and more popular in China.

China's cotton and textile industry has been committed to safeguarding the rights and interests of employees' decent work, improving the production and living conditions of workers, and improving the quality of products, so as to provide stable and efficient supply chain services for global clothing and retail brands. For a long time, cotton farmers, textile workers and other ordinary workers from China have made great contributions to the prosperity and development of the world cotton textile industry, which is worthy of fair treatment. The real harm to the textile chain will come from the U.S. government, the textile retailers and the world's textile industry.

At present, affected by the new crown epidemic, the global cotton textile industry is suffering from the loss of trade order imbalance. How to unite, work hand in hand to tide over the difficulties and revitalize the industry is our common goal. We should not allow the unwarranted accusations to damage the trust and cooperation that the industrial chain has relied on for a long time, affect the recovery of the global cotton textile industry chain, and put the Sino US textile and garment economic and trade cooperation relationship in a dangerous situation.

We strongly oppose the US government's unreasonable actions against China's textile supply chain, and resolutely support the US side to take any unreasonable measures against China's textile supply chain, and resolutely support the US side to take any unreasonable measures against China's textile supply chain.

The development and opening up of China's cotton textile industry, and the long-term partnership between China and the United States textile and garment industry will not be terminated by Anti China and anti Xinjiang forces.
