Starbucks Coffee Quickly Accelerated Layout Chengdu Shop Has Been On-Line
August 7th, following the layout of Beijing and Shanghai, Starbucks China's "fast food" service was officially launched in Chengdu recently.
According to the media, at present, except for a brand new shop, China Railway Art City store, Chengdu has not yet launched the "fast service", but other stores have this service.
Statistics show that in May 21st, Starbucks China formally launched the "fast online" service on the "online order list to store pick up". After the pilot of the stores in Beijing and Shanghai, it quickly covered 1300 stores in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing and other cities. Wang Jingying, chief executive of Starbucks China, said that "fast food" service is an attempt to enhance the user experience of the "fourth space" in the digital field.
Prior to the launch of the "cafe" service, Starbucks also launched the delivery service in 2100 restaurants in 35 cities through hunger, and had already opened up the membership system with hunger. Members can enjoy benefits such as free distribution fees and double points by sharing members' rights and benefits. Starbucks said it hopes to expand the outbound service to 3000 stores in 50 cities.
It is not hard to see that Starbucks is committed to expanding its delivery service, developing its digital relationship and enhancing its store experience to promote its growth. According to the financial data, Starbucks's takeaway service extended to about 2900 stores in nearly 80 cities in the third quarter of 2019, and takeaway sales accounted for 6% of the total sales in China.
