It is understood that according to the development plan of Xinjiang's textile and clothing industry, by 2023, Xinjiang will have reached the scale of 20 million spindles of cotton spinning capacity, and the employment capacity of the whole industry chain will reach 1 million people, of which more than 650000 people will be employed in the whole industry of southern Xinjiang.

According to this reality, the Xinjiang Textile and Clothing Industry Trade Union was established last June.
