This leather is light and soft, and rich in color. It exists between the virtual and the real. It makes it look like a ghost. Therefore, Recht and Ecco Apparition named the leather as a ghost.

In order to create (theoretically) pparent leather that can be dyed in various colors, the Recht and Ecco team spent 3 years to study the technology of pparent leather before, and invented this pparent cowhide, soft and waterproof.

This is also the biggest innovation of this pparent cowhide.

Before that, Carol Christian Poell and Boris Bidjan Saberi have successfully made pparent leather, but when designers use these leather products to make products, leather will harden, and waterproofing performance is very poor, and can not achieve light texture.

According to Recht, the technology comes from the combination of tannery technology and modern technology in ancient Egypt and Greece, and how to keep it soft is a trade secret. The vague answer is, "it comes from the two dimensions of vision and touch, and the new thinking and challenge of leather beauty".

The pparent leather has two thickness choices, 0.5 to 0.7 mm and 0.8 to 1 millimeters, though light and thin, but still maintains the function of the cow skin.

"After creating a new material, even a new class of leather, it is to develop it into a physical object, to see what it can do, and then to show it in a story: how it moves, how to flow, how to fold and feel," says Recht.

Leisure series

Most of the men's casual shoes are superior leather materials, and there are breathable holes on both sides of the shoes. The leisure design of the lace is suitable for casual wear.

The inside of the shoe is a soft lining, and the insole can be replaced and cleaned.
