ZDHC: Achieving Zero Emissions Of Hazardous Chemicals In The Textile And Footwear Supply Chain.

Considering that today's fashion supply chain is a network of chemical suppliers, farmers, synthetic materials developers, manufactory and factories, it is necessary to ensure the consistency of testing in each link through common technical training and improvement monitoring.

The wide application of chemicals, the extensive use of water, and the harmful chemicals contained in the waste water make the clothing and footwear industry one of the most polluting industries in the world, and also pose a security risk to the workers and consumers.

Related industries have made efforts through the OIA (Outdoor Industry Association) chemicals and sustainable development working group, as well as SAC (sustainable fashion alliance), and ZDHC (hazardous chemicals Zero Discharge) organization has further strengthened this goal.

The mission is to promote the zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in the textile and footwear supply chain.

This will be achieved by sustainable chemical development in the textile and footwear industry, providing the best protection for consumers, staff and the environment.
