Just like a movie blockbuster, you may find it hard to imagine that two production lines are running in a slightly dilapidated workshop within more than 40 kilometers from Guangzhou, China.

"Produced here".

LV

"Products will soon appear in thousands of kilometers away, luxurious.

Dubai

A group of counterfeit old hands, secretly laying out production lines in Guangzhou, quietly arranged warehouses and sales dens in Dubai, creating hundreds of millions of output value.

It is such a gang that makes counterfeit brands online and online.

It is even more difficult for them to pay for fraud.

Due to the joint efforts of Guangzhou police and Dubai police, plus

Alibaba

The support of the anti-counterfeiting team has finally been solved.

This is a microcosm of fake black industry chain, and also a microcosm of Ali's active participation in counterfeiting.

Last month, the Alibaba annual report on intellectual property protection, released in April 2016, revealed that Ali had formed a relatively perfect mechanism for dealing with big data, and drew a map of the 3518 suspected selling groups under the line, which provided a powerful help for many police to strike a precise blow and to protect the rights of the licensed products.

Ali's anti-counterfeiting campaign has won the response from international organizations such as the British China Trade Association, and Italy's premier, Lun Qi and other international personalities.

LV brand find "fake China team"

In May 9, 2016, a factory without signs in the town of Zhong Luo Tan, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, was seized by a fake LV production dens.

Of the 7 male workers in the workshop, 5 of them were technicians who produced the scene on September when they investigated Huang Mou's counterfeiting gang.

Huang Mou, from Taiwan, has been doing many years of counterfeit LV leather processing in Guangzhou.

He had been investigated and dealt with by the police many times, but he repeated the old business many times. Then he continued to operate a processing plant in Zhong Shan Tan town and produced a continuous production of counterfeit LV products.

These counterfeit products are combined with LVMH group, the famous French leather brand LV and MOET & CHANDON brand Hennessy.

Behind such a group is a huge black chain of fake goods.

According to incomplete statistics, the black industry chain of fake goods has more than hundreds of thousands of practitioners, and the annual output value exceeds 100 billion.

According to a staff member of the anti-counterfeiting team of Ali, a police in some place investigated and dealt with a market warehouse according to the clues they provided. The number is 10, and the case police accidentally kicked open No. 11. It turned out that there was a large number of fake goods in the warehouse and the original target number 10.

The black industry chain has been active online for a long time, and some smart practitioners have also stepped into the online industry to invade the domestic e-commerce platform.

As the largest electronic business platform in the world, Ali has made a real move in the fight against counterfeiting.

"Ali has more than 2000 employees working full-time, more than 300 core members and more than 10 thousand junior two members."

Ali, a senior security expert, said, "many people do not believe that we have invested so much manpower in the fight against counterfeiting, but this is a fact."

In the words of Ma Yun, chairman of the board of Alibaba group, over the years, we have used traditional means, mechanisms and measures to fight against counterfeiting, and "fight more and more."

Ma Yun also said he wanted to build a team to fight against fake China.

LV brand side found this "fake Chinese team".

Brand rights holders have received reports that there are gangs in Guangzhou producing and selling counterfeit LV leather products and exported to Dubai. However, the brand is not clear about the situation of these gangs, and the police also need assistance.

In the 1 billion level online products of Ali platform, how can we find out fake goods and suspects? The Alibaba intellectual property protection annual report released last month revealed that with the accumulation of many years, the speed of real-time data analysis of the Ali prevention and control system has reached 100 million times per second, and hundreds of millions of fake merchandise information has been successfully released in Taobao, which is released by Taobao. Through massive data analysis, refining, induction and modeling, it can deal with fake behavior directly, or provide false information to law enforcement agencies and assist in line attack.

Ali's anti-counterfeiting team relies on the big data system to help out the 4 gangs with Huang and others as the backbone. These groups work together to form a complete chain from production, sales, warehousing, logistics to export.

After obtaining clues from Ali, the Guangzhou police also provided more information to Ali.

Ali combines these information with platform data to monitor the online operation activities of the 4 target groups.

According to the clues provided by Ali, in September 14, 2015, the Guangzhou Economic Investigation Brigade unified the 4 groups scattered in different regions of Guangzhou to start the operation.

A total of 7 suspects were arrested, 6 of them were destroyed, including 2 production lines, warehouses and logistics dens, and 2 pieces of fake leather production lines and a large number of leather materials, and more than 6000 pieces of fake LV products and semi-finished products.

Law enforcement officers entered Huang Mou's leather processing plant, which looks different from other factories in the Pearl River Delta.

The production of counterfeit LV leather is being carried out secretly.

There are two production lines in the workshop, several production machines, all of which are controlled by computers.

This fake LV chain has a very clear division of labor.

There is a group specializing in the production of leather materials; a group purchased counterfeit leather products after processing, finished products, sold to Dubai, and online sales, and in a leather goods business near the city hotel room display samples, it is said that only old customers to experience; there are groups in Guangzhou to do warehousing, wholesale; and the group to provide Dubai special line logistics services.

During the investigation, the police also found that these gangs were warehousing and selling dens in the Middle East of Dubai.

Ali also provided assistance in synchronizing the case information between the Guangzhou police and the Dubai police.

Dubai closed the network, arrested 2 suspects, and seized over 6 counterfeit luxury goods such as fake LV and fake CK.

Brands have chosen to cooperate with ALI.

It's not just the fake LV case.

Alibaba also collaborate with brands, international organizations and law enforcement agencies to help uncover many cases.

In April 2015, the Ali anti counterfeiting team hosted the CBBC, which provided clues for the sale of fake Shell lubricants on Ali platform.

The organization is supported by the British government and the business community to assist British companies in their business in China.

After big data investigation and excavation, clusters of cases involving 6 provinces were revealed.

According to media reports in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou Economic Investigation Detachment and Ali actively cooperated to coordinate the advantages of both sides and dig deep criminal clues. Finally, under the organizational coordination of the Ministry of public security, 3 clusters of battles were launched successively. 22 suspects were arrested in the whole country, 10 criminal gangs were destroyed, tens of thousands of barrels of counterfeit lubricating oil were seized, and the amount involved was as high as 120 million yuan.

Faced with the existence of fake goods online and offline, international organizations such as the Sino British Trade Association have chosen to cooperate with ALI.

Mick Ryan, who is responsible for the intellectual property rights of the organization, said in an interview that the case is a successful cooperation with ALI. The British company is responsible for the online investigation, and Ali is responsible for the online investigation. "The result of the case is very satisfying to us, and this result has a far-reaching impact on the whole industry."

According to the official WeChat news of the British Embassy in China, the Baron of British intellectual property Secretary Neville Rolf, who was held in London in October 21, 2015, said that more than 25 British businesses and 8 million pound counterfeit goods sold on Ali platform had been removed. "We still have more work to do, but we are very pleased that Britain is working closely with Alibaba to find a constructive solution."

In addition to LV, Shell's counterfeit goods, CK, Dior, Chanel, Hermes, the Yanghe River wine and other domestic and foreign brands of infringing products have been effectively combated.

Take the "cloud sword action" jointly launched by Zhejiang doubles office and Ali in May last year as an example, according to the distribution map of suspicious selling groups under the national line, based on big data, the police arrested 300 suspects in 3 months and destroyed 244 dens, involving a total value of more than 800 million yuan.

In 2015, Alibaba intellectual property protection annual report also revealed that Ali is developing a system of "rights people co construction", which is expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2016, when the brand owners who participate in the co construction can "make a key complaint" and get clear and visible complaints data. The effect of safeguarding rights is clear at a glance.

The annual report also admits Ali's plight in intellectual property protection.

This includes: lack of linkage between platforms, and even some shops that have been retreated by Ali to fight other electronic business platforms; laws and regulations are lagging behind and illegal costs are low; for example, there are 312 online related shops in Beijing suspected of selling counterfeit liquor such as Moutai and Hennessy, and the turnover in the 3 months is as high as 50 million. However, electronic evidence is hard to be recognized, and the value of on-site seizure is not up to the standard of filing (50 thousand of sales value and 150 thousand of unsold value).

Therefore, the annual report calls for the participation of the rights holders, trade associations, platforms and governments in the global issue of intellectual property protection.

Such a proposal has won the response of many people including Prime Minister Lun Qi of Italy.

According to Xinhua news agency, in April 11th this year, Lenzi and Ma Yun called on the Italy government and relevant rights holders to work closely with Ali to expand the market and protect intellectual property rights.

According to the French "Le Figaro" report, in May 13th this year, the French government awarded Ma Yun's "legion of honor Legion", while Ma Yun also met with French economic minister Emmanuel Maclon. The two sides decided to increase cooperation to jointly promote the intellectual property protection of French luxury brands and other commodities.

"Fake goods are like pathogens in the surrounding air, and the struggle against fake products is to fight against the dark side of human nature. This is a permanent war."

Ma Yun said.
