The new Thindown goose fabric, compared with the traditional down jacket, needs less goose feather because it is a homogenous fabric without air passage.

Finally, it does not need spaced stitches.

The innovative Thindown product will be unveiled this week at the Milano Unica fabric exhibition in Italy. It is regarded as "the first unique goose feather fabric, pure natural, environmentally friendly, bactericidal and biodegradable".

Developed by Canadian Ron Reuben and Italy entrepreneur Paolo Bodo, the product is made in Italy and is described as the lightest and warmest fabric in the world.

The two inventors believe that it will revolutionize the use of goose feather.

Unlike synthetic feathers, Thindown is completely natural.

Compaction.

Compared with traditional down jacket, it needs to use fewer goose feather because it is a homogenous fabric without air passage.

Finally, it does not need spaced stitches.

We can finally bid farewell to the diamond jacket, other expansion design or hair removal phenomenon. Through this brand new material, we can not only make clothes, but also make them.

Feather accessories

Including footwear, only a little stitching is needed, and a variety of processing and individualized elements can be added.

This is unthinkable before.

"We have contacted six high-end brands in Italy, France and the United States to test products," said Paolo Bodo, chief executive officer and co founder of Thindown, Nipi, a research, production and marketing company.

They are all very excited. Every company asks us to give them the exclusive right to operate! Of course, we have rejected them.

In the next five years, we will do our best to promote the use of this revolutionary fabric in the fashion industry, and strongly recommend it to the major brands. Later we will also enter the home, furniture and building insulation industry. "

Ron Reuben is an expert in the production and export of goose feather.

He has devoted himself to this crazy project for many years, and is going to make the goose feather into a complete fabric.

He registered the first Thindown patent in 2000, and then registered two other patents in 2007 and 2014.

With the assistance of the international engineer team, he has developed the technology needed to produce this fabric through Nipi R40 over the past few years.

Nipi R40 is an advanced production equipment.

After understanding with Paolo Bodo in 2012, the project was finally implemented.

Paolo Bodo is a Italy entrepreneur who serves as a consultant to several famous brands, especially the Asia branch responsible for leading Sixty group.

He collaborate with Ron Reuben and third shareholders Joe Hiess (Marketing Consultant and former president of Jones NewYork brand) to create Nipi company. After that, he joined two new shareholders: American P&WLLC group and a Chinese partner.

To ensure the supply of certified goose feathers, Nipi also set up a joint venture company with supplier Molina&C to share half of the stock.

The project invested nearly 10 million euros before and after.

The fabric is produced in the Nipi plant in Chieti, Italy, and is specialized in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Paolo Bodo said, "output will increase from 2016 to 300 thousand in 2018 to 300 thousand in the year.

It has an immeasurable potential.

At the same time, we hope to encourage the brand to come to Italy to produce down garments again.
