Actively Fulfill Social Responsibilities To Promote Sustainable Development Of E-Commerce
As a new business mode, e-commerce is an important part of China's strategic emerging industries, and has made great contributions to improving the living standards of the people.
Over the past ten years, China's e-commerce has been developing vigorously, and there have also been some disharmony phenomena, including the manufacture and sale of fake and inferior commodities, infringement of trademark rights and other intellectual property rights, as well as damage to consumers' rights and interests.
The challenge of social responsibility in e-commerce supply chain has attracted more and more attention from stakeholders.
In order to study the universality and particularity of social responsibility under the e-commerce environment, we explored the opportunities and challenges of social responsibility under the online and offline industry, and shared the practice and experience of fulfilling social responsibility under the e-commerce environment. In September 12, 2014, the China Textile Industry Federation and the China Electronic Industry Standardization Technology Association jointly organized the "responsibility O2O: corporate social responsibility" special forum in Capital Hotel Beijing.
As an important part of the 2014 China Textile and garment industry social responsibility annual meeting and social responsibility report joint press conference, the forum invited the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of industry and other government departments, Alibaba, Jingdong and other well-known e-commerce platforms, such as online brands, Korean clothing homes, and other brand enterprises. Representatives of China Consumer Association, China Textile union testing center, China Textile Federation circulation branch, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology and other related institutions gathered together to brainstorm.
Nie Linhai, deputy director of the Department of e-commerce and information technology of the Ministry of Commerce, opened the forum.
In his speech, Nie Linhai pointed out that in recent years, e-commerce has developed rapidly in China. However, there are many problems and contradictions in the rapid development, such as counterfeiting and shoddy online retailing, infringement of intellectual property rights and so on.
The Department of e-commerce and information technology of the Ministry of commerce is collaborating with relevant departments to study the related social responsibilities in the field of e-commerce. An important task this year is to crack down on the phenomenon of infringement of intellectual property rights on the Internet and e-commerce platforms.
Nie Linhai also said that all these issues related to social responsibility are problems arising from the high-speed and disorderly development of the electricity supplier. They need to be standardized gradually, and encourage the development of electricity providers in China through standard, encouragement and support.
Xia Lingmin, vice president of China textile industry, made a keynote speech on "paying attention to corporate social responsibility and promoting the healthy development of textile and clothing e-commerce".
In the keynote report, Xia will elaborate on the prominent problems of social responsibility in the field of e-commerce in the textile and garment industry, as well as the future development direction and solutions.
Xia Lingmin pointed out that there are five main aspects of the social responsibility of the textile and apparel industry: first, the protection of intellectual property rights; second, the protection of consumers' rights and interests; third, the protection of labor rights and interests of employees in electric business enterprises; fourth, the issue of excessive competition; and fifth, the lack of monitoring of commodity quality, which has restricted the healthy development of e-commerce.
Xia Lingmin proposed to solve these problems and contradictions from the three levels of government, enterprises and industry organizations.
From the government level, it is necessary to establish and perfect corresponding laws and regulations as soon as possible, and create a fair, fair and healthy competition environment, which is very important for the development of electric business.
From the enterprise level, first of all, we must stick to honesty and trustworthiness and fair competition. This is the foundation of enterprises. At the same time, platform enterprises should take the responsibility of supervision, and more importantly, enterprises should take into account the convergence of all links in the supply chain.
From the perspective of industry associations, we should give full play to the role of association organizations. First, we should promote e-commerce enterprises to focus on social responsibility and push them by the worst. On the other hand, we should carry out industry self-discipline and strengthen the implementation of social responsibility by fostering more excellent talents of e-commerce.
Finally, President Xia pointed out that the problem of social responsibility under the condition of electricity supplier is only concerned by all stakeholders, and the social responsibility of the whole industry can be better promoted.
Guo Xiuming, director general of the Department of policies and regulations of the Ministry of industry and information technology and deputy director of commodity service supervision department of China Consumer Association, pekolin Lin, respectively made a forum keynote speech from the Ministry of industry and information technology on promoting the corporate social responsibility policy and the China Consumer Association's initiatives to safeguard consumers' legitimate rights and interests.
Guo Xiuming first introduced the basic situation of the Ministry of industry and credit to promote corporate social responsibility. It pointed out that the Ministry of industry and credit has always attached great importance to the work of corporate social responsibility. It has made investigation and research, pilot exploration and comprehensive promotion of three steps. On the basis of a large number of investigation and research, it collated the relevant guiding documents and policy measures of corporate social responsibility issued by government departments at all levels in our country. It has organized several research reports successively and laid the foundation for the construction of enterprise social responsibility in the field of industry and information.
In addition, the Ministry of industry and information technology has also actively explored pilot projects, carried out pilot projects and regional pilot projects for social responsibility in the electronic information industry, and has extensively co operated with other government departments, research institutions and relevant institutions at home and abroad. Through organizing training, inspection and discussion activities, it has established an exchange mechanism both at home and abroad, forming a situation of extensive cooperation in corporate social responsibility construction.
Guo Xiuming believes that promoting the e-commerce industry to fulfill its social responsibilities can promote the sustainable development of the industry.
Therefore, it is necessary to combine the functions of the government, associations and society with the implementation of the main responsibility of enterprises, actively explore action plans to promote the social responsibility construction of the industry, create conditions, encourage the responsible persons and staff of e-commerce enterprises to strengthen the learning and understanding of the concept of social responsibility, promote the values of corporate social responsibility, combine the overall promotion with the implementation of step by step, promote the best practice of sharing, enhance the leading role of leading enterprises, and work together to build the network responsibility ecosystem.
Deputy director of PI Xiaolin, a Chinese Consumer Association, delivered a keynote speech on fair treatment of consumers.
He pointed out that some electric business enterprises use strong position to restrict consumers' rights, or use network platform to exaggerate propaganda and false promises.
On the other hand, many consumers are weak in safeguarding their rights in online shopping, so consumers need to constantly strengthen their awareness of self-protection.
Deputy director of leather Xiao Lin also analyzed the implementation of the revised consumer rights protection law for more than half a year with the participants. He hoped that the new consumer law would become a new starting point for enterprises to undertake their responsibilities, and ensure that every measure of enterprise's consumer rights protection was established, striving to surpass the demand for new consumer laws, and strive to achieve win-win symbiosis in the responsibility of actively protecting the interests of consumers.

All participants agreed that the sustainable development of e-commerce depends on the e-commerce platform and its participants, combining the concept of stakeholder and the Internet thinking to build a consistent chain of responsibility and value.
