Shanghai Lianheng isocyanate Co., Ltd., established by BASF, Huntsman, Shanghai Huayi (Group) and Sinopec Shanghai Gaoqiao Petrochemical Company, is a part of Shanghai polyurethane integration project. Shanghai Lianheng isocyanate Co., Ltd. has three sets of plants: 240000 T / a nitrobenzene, 160000 T / a aniline and 240000 T / a crude MDI. Among them, 240000 T / a crude MDI plant has been put into operation in August 2007, and the actual annual output of the plant can reach 280000-290000 t. In order to expand its market share, BASF's second 400000 T / a MDI plant with a total investment of more than 30 billion yuan in China will be settled in Chongqing Chemical Industry Park (Changshou). Construction is planned to start in 2008 and put into operation after 2010. 3. Among the Shanghai integrated chemical projects invested by Bayer and Bayer with a total investment of 3.1 billion US dollars, isocyanate products projects mainly include 350000 T / a crude MDI, 150000 T / a TDI, 50000 T / a HDI and 10000 t / a polyisocyanate. The production time of MDI unit was advanced from 2009 to April 2008. In addition, Bayer's crude MDI distillation unit has been put into trial operation in mid June 2006, equipped with a complete set of logistics equipment to extract pure MDI and polymerized MDI from crude MDI. MDI industry has many technical fortresses, such as large-scale use of phosgene, systematic process flow, high anti-corrosion performance requirements of equipment and precise reaction conditions, as well as capital fortress with high investment. However, the "double barriers" can not stop the new enterprises from getting involved, and the existing TDI enterprises plan to enter the MDI industry. For example, Bluestar Tianjin new chemical material base plans to build a 200000 t / a MDI plant, of which the first phase of 100000 t / a plant is under construction; Gansu Yinguang Chemical Group Co., Ltd. plans to build 160000 T / a MDI plant; Nippon polyurethane (Ruian) Co., Ltd. plans to build 80000 T / a crude MDI refining project The project was started in July 2006 and has been basically completed. The raw materials are mainly from the 200000 t / a MDI plant newly expanded and put into operation in Nanyang plant of Japan. In the future, the supply and demand tension of MDI market will be eased, and the industry competition pattern will also have new changes.
