08 Years And 1-4 Months, Turkey Leather Industry Production Decreased By 4.8%

According to Turkey's reference newspaper, according to the data released by Turkey National Bureau of statistics, the production of soil industry increased by 6.3% in April compared with the same period last year, which is higher than originally expected.

Although the domestic market demand is not strong, export is strong, which has strongly promoted the growth of industrial production.

In various industries, the production of automobiles increased fastest, reaching 32.4%. Other main growth industries were petroleum products (21%), tobacco (15.6%), furniture (13.6%), paper making (13.2%), electrical (12.6%), etc.

The most serious decline in production in April was the electronic products such as televisions and radios, with a drop of 24.6%. As a pillar of the export trade of foreign trade, the textile industry decreased by 15.2%. The other industries with negative growth mainly included medical equipment (-4.8%), leather (-4.8%), coal (-4.5%), chemical (-2.9)% and so on.

In 1-4 months, the national industrial production increased by 6.7% compared with the same period last year, of which manufacturing production increased by 6.5%.

Affected by the fluctuation of international exchange market and the tension of the internal affairs of the country, the growth of industrial production is expected to be only 3% this year.
