Yesterday, reporters from the Jinjiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau was informed that in May this year, Jinjiang exported a total of 5819, 49 million 240 thousand and 167 million 570 thousand dollars of footwear products, representing an increase of 4.81%, 11.66% and 27.94% respectively.

It is reported that since the Spring Festival of 2008, the number of exports has increased for the first time for the first time.

In the 1-5 months of this year, 23287 products, 196 million 770 thousand pairs, and 630 million 50 thousand dollars of footwear products were exported to Jinjiang area, which were increased by 9.14%, -0.54% and 12.53% respectively.

After analysis, the main reason for the increase of footwear exports in Jinjiang in May is the increase in orders.

In the past few days, many shoe companies did not have too many orders to do. They had been struggling to maintain production. In addition, this year, recruitment was more difficult, and some shoe companies even lost money in raising workers. After experiencing Canton Fair and shoe fair in April, shoe manufacturers received more sufficient orders.

In order to make up for the loss of the previous period, many shoe companies have been working overtime to increase production, so that the footwear export in May has increased significantly.

In this regard, Jinjiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau has taken active measures to ensure the healthy and orderly growth of footwear exports.

In view of the larger proportion of exports to the EU and Switzerland, in May this year, the Jinjiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau exported 2314 batches to the EU and Switzerland, accounting for 39.77% of the monthly export volume.

The Jinjiang inspection and Quarantine Bureau has actively organized the cycle inspection of export footwear, and strengthened the detection of toxic and harmful substances in raw and auxiliary materials, so as to ensure that the delivery cycle of shoe enterprises is not delayed, and that the products meet the European Union's directive requirements.

At the same time, meticulously organize routine inspection and supervision work to ensure that in the case of increased export volume, we can also ensure that supervision is in place.
