Australia

Since July, the slaughtering of beef cattle in Eastern States has been increasing gradually, reaching 141294 by the end of October - the highest production rate so far this year.

Coincidentally, the data coincided with the highest in 12 months, next to last year's slaughter volume (142000 long) in the week ending October 28th.

Although the data are relatively high according to recent standards, the slaughter rate has been relatively low this year and throughout 2011, mainly because of the retention of heavy female species for the purpose of rebuilding cattle, and the hope of holding bullocks to increase their weight in the face of favorable seasonal conditions.

According to the beginning of this year

benchmark

According to statistics, Vitoria has handled about 300000 from 2012 to 2013, almost 5 percentage points higher than the same period last year.

The seasonal prospect in most parts of eastern Australia is also pushing more and more cattle to the slaughterhouse, especially because of the rebuilding of cattle now. Many cattle farms have more cattle than they did two years ago.

Queensland slaughtered 74607 last week, unchanged from a week ago, but it was 1 percentage points lower than last year.

The proportion of cows (Queensland is Australia's only metric metric state) is less than 30%, much the same as most of the year.

Slaughtering in New South Wales last week increased by 2 percentage points to 34444, while Tasmania increased by 3 percentage points to 3985, while South Australia dropped 1 percentage points to 8047.

Demand is weak, and tanneries are not interested in higher prices.

In the past few weeks, the pricing of raw leather has not changed.

In Queensland, as in the past, the price of 35/37 kilograms of cow calf / bull skin without lice area (TFA) is stable at $1.93 per kilogram.

In New South Wales, the trade price of 23 /27 kilograms of Bull Hide / calf is 2.20 dollars per kilogram, while in Vitoria it is 2.48 dollars per kilogram.
