Mr. Wang, the brand leader, said that it should belong to the peak season for clothing to be processed. However, the clothing enterprises give less orders to the processing plants and are very cautious, so that the processing enterprises will survive even harder this year.


Mr. Wang said that the increase in inventories this year is not due to more production, but less sales. In addition, foreign trade enterprises are turning to domestic sales, and new clothing brands are constantly emerging, making the competition in the domestic clothing market more brutal.


Lining's annual report shows that its inventory reached 1 billion 130 million yuan last year, almost two times that of 2008.

The stock of other major sports brands is also huge. Anta stock is 618 million yuan, XTEP inventory is 671 million yuan, XTEP stock is 451 million yuan, PEAK stock is 421 million yuan.

Last year, inventories increased by nearly 5 times as much as in 2009, which is even more alarming.

Mr. Wang revealed that a sports clothing brand mentioned above has more than 80% of sportswear inventory this year.


Wu Xiuhua also said that clothing inventory is different for every enterprise. The city textile and garment industry association does not have detailed statistics, but it is certain that this year's inventory is indeed higher than that of last year, especially.
