2012 Wang Shouzhi, China Fashion Forum: the origin of brand


March 27-29, Ruyi 2012 China Fashion Forum was held in Beijing China Grand Hotel.

The theme of this forum is to build a Chinese clothing brand under the world pattern.

In the 28 TED morning keynote speech - a step towards the new world order, Wang Shouzhi, a famous design theorist, made a speech entitled "the beginning of brand".

Wang Shouzhi is an influential scholar in the design profession. At the same time, he is also a public intellectual who is familiar with the masses in the country. He is a notable figure in the media circles.

One of the founders of contemporary design education is the most influential academic authority in the three theoretical circles of mainland China, Taiwan and Hongkong. His research covers a wide range of subjects, including modern architecture, urban planning, interior design, environmental art, entertainment design, cultural creative industry, and so on.

Design, automobile design, industrial product design, graphic design, illustrations, cartoons and so on, his works are difficult to reach at present in terms of depth and breadth. Wang Shouzhi was regarded as one of the most important founders of Chinese contemporary design education. He served as deputy director of the Industrial Design Research Office in 1982 and later served as deputy director of the design department.

To truly stand on the strength of the world's forests, we have to do several things:


First, there is no uniform high fashion market in China. We always confuse high school with low school. This is the biggest problem.

Unlike foreign fashion syndicates, they only comment on the best ones. We do not, we are all commenting on it, and often the manufacturer can go in to comment if he has more money.

I said that if China wants to do it, it must make a market launched by France in 20s, where a small number of people work there.

In 2009, I was very fortunate to see your president, I also saw syndicate, he created in France for 20 years, there is no such a God in China, there is no such a Taiwan, we have to have a small circle, this small circle brand, brand into a world-class brand, you can drop to second level.


Second, the most urgent problem for our industry is the issue of public comment.

We know that there are several important Western newspapers, such as the International Herald Tribune, whose theme is very clear. Which media in China can say which is better or which is not good? We do not have such a few pen in China. We do not have a public comment force, and the final result is parrot.

There is no criticism in fashion. Only if everyone speaks well, if there is no such mechanism, this is also a problem.


Third, China has gone to 30 years of rapid economic development, China's next time, the next 20 years, China should go out of its own brand, can no longer make China made into a symbol of China, we will have Chinese design in the future, this is the future.

We are now on the eve of this early stage. We have already completed the large-scale manufacturing, finished the Shanzhai, finished the imitation, and finished the standard of all the quantity. China needs a quality, this quality is a long way.


I am a critique. I risk my risk of offending you. Here I want to say a few words. In fact, the heart is good. In another two years, when we go to this conference, we can really quote several people who can be heard in the global fashion industry.
