A total of more than 4500 designated hotels were distributed in all prefecture level and some county towns. Among all the prefecture level and above cities, there were more than 4300 designated hotels which could receive business trips. Apart from the cities in the scenic spots and other places banned by the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council, most of the cities at the prefecture level and above had designated hotels that could receive meetings, a total of more than 3800.

Compared with the previous round, the number of designated hotels has increased by more than 1 thousand.

In the process of government procurement, the Ministry of finance has not received complaints and responses involving illegal or illegal procurement.

Party and government organs

One of the characteristics of the management of hotels designated for business trips and conferences is that the number of designated hotels has increased considerably, mainly because of the promotion of the travel and meeting management of the party and government organs at the level of the party, driven by the reform of the central differential travel expenses and the conference fee system.

Judging from the results of the procurement of the designated hotels, the number of designated hotels at the county level has increased significantly. This shows that the reform of the designated management of business meetings is extending to the county level. The majority of the provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government and the cities under separate planning have implemented the reform of the designated management of business meetings; in addition, the total number of provinces and counties that have implemented business and conference management from province to county has increased from 4 last year to 10.

It is learnt that according to the reform requirements of travel expenses and conference fee system, the designated hotel will continue to be dominated by three star and four star hotels.
