China's Largest High-Performance Carbon Fiber Production Base Built In Henan

In November 16th, Henan coal chemical industry group The thousand tons of carbon fiber project successfully produced qualified MH300 high-performance carbon fiber products. This also marks Largest in China Of High performance carbon fiber production base It was built in our province.

Carbon fiber is a high-end technology intensive new material, widely used in aerospace, aviation and other cutting-edge fields, and has a strong market demand. In order to break the monopoly of foreign countries and technology blockade, China used the high-tech fiber material which is related to the national industrial security as the top priority in the "11th Five-Year plan" of the chemical fiber industry, and carbon fiber was ranked first.

Henan coal chemical group is the only enterprise that can produce carbon fiber products in our province. The annual production of thousand ton carbon fiber project is also a key project for the group to readjust its industrial structure and seize the high end of the coal chemical industry. The first phase of the project started in November 17, 2009 and output in November 16th this year. The construction period is half as long as that of similar projects in China.

It is understood that investment in new high-end chemical projects of Henan coal chemical group has accounted for more than 60% of its total investment. At present, we are speeding up the construction of 5 high-end high-grade chemical projects, including 200 thousand tons of ethylene glycol per year, 1000 tons of high performance carbon fiber in Shangqiu and Kaifeng Long Yu's annual output of 40 thousand tons of polyformaldehyde.
