Your bureau's advice on the applicable rate of olive oil ([2010]5) has been received.

After research, the reply is as follows:

According to the regulations issued by the State Administration of Taxation on the issuance of notes on the scope of Taxation on the value added tax of some goods ([1993]151), olive oil may be subject to value-added tax at the rate of 13% of edible vegetable oil.
