But because of its livable, business friendly, enlightened, open environment and excellent geographical location, attracting a group of Chinese enterprises to invest and develop trade, hoping to make it a pfer hub for the surrounding 400 million population.

On the 25-29 day of June, Xia Lingmin, vice chairman of the China Textile Industry Federation and chairman of the circulation branch, led a delegation of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Humen, Chengdu, Ji'nan, Weifang, Zhuzhou and other regional professional markets to conduct research on industrial cooperation in Georgia, focusing on the overseas investment projects of Xinjiang Hualing group, Tbilisi Nino wholesale market and Chinatown, while visiting the Ministry of economic affairs of China and the Chinese Embassy in Georgia.

The delegation has an in-depth understanding of the local industrial development environment and needs, and focuses on publicizing the functions of China Federation of textile industry and circulation branch, and actively promoting cooperation and negotiation between the two countries in textile and clothing trade and circulation, and has achieved initial results.

01, Georgia is stable, open and free.

Georgia has a total population of 3 million 718 thousand people. Natural resources include forests, minerals, water resources and so on. Tourism is a relatively mature industry. Georgia has superior geographical advantages. It looks across the Black Sea to Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and other Eastern European countries, and borders on Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia and other countries. It has the international market of nearly 400 million people in the Black Sea Economic Zone. It is the core hub of the "one belt and one road" and the bridgehead connecting Europe and Asia.

The land and sea pport in Georgia is directly accessible to Eastern European countries, and domestic railways and highways are connected with neighboring countries. Recently, a railway and highway pport line across Armenia to Iran has been opened, providing convenient pportation conditions for re export trade.

Zuo Hongbo, the representative of the Chinese Embassy in Georgia, said that Georgia actively responded to the "one belt" initiative and was committed to creating an economic corridor linking Europe, Asia, trade, logistics and pportation. The political situation was stable, the degree of opening up to the outside world was high, the scope of the free trade agreement network was wide, the procedures for business operation were convenient, the labor and electricity cost was low, and the investment environment was good.

More than 90% of Georgia's goods need to be imported.

Georgia's manufacturing industry is lagging behind, accounting for only GDP14.3%.

Among them, 80% of the textile and clothing shoes and hat products come from Turkey and China; Turkey has a market share of over 50% due to its good technological level and high performance price ratio; the Georgian apparel industry employs 6000 people, 85% of whom are female workers; a total of about 20 garment manufacturers, mainly in uniforms, fast fashion production and international famous sports brand OEM; 90% for small enterprises, mainly concentrated in Batumi, a small number in Tbilisi and Kutaisi; because of its strong cultural and artistic atmosphere, enterprises have strong clothing design capabilities.

Giorgi Edilashvili, senior investment adviser of the Ministry of economic affairs of Georgia, stressed that in recent years, investment in textile and apparel industry in Georgia has been developing rapidly, and it is also one of the most desirable areas for government to invest, especially shoes and hat products.

Georgia has signed free trade agreements with the European Union, Turkey, the Commonwealth of Independent States and China. Therefore, although the market share is small, it can basically achieve zero tariffs through Georgia's entry into other neighboring countries.

In addition, the grid will provide superior policy conditions, including pferring land at a symbolic price, and enterprises in the industrial park will be exempt from all other taxes in addition to paying the employee's income tax.

According to statistics from the Georgia National Bureau of statistics, the volume of foreign trade in 2017 1-11 was 9 billion 563 million 800 thousand US dollars, up 12.9% over the same period last year.

At the same time, he said that in the future, we should further explore how to promote the further cooperation between the domestic textile and garment market and the Hualing Tbilisi maritime industry square and the Kutaisi Industrial Park, so that Georgia can become a pfer hub for the European Union and the Middle East to realize the global market of China's textile and garment industry, which will bring new opportunities for China's textile and garment market.

Zhao Fangyuan, general manager of Weifang Xinghe International Textile City Co., Ltd., Shandong

Zheng Qingchou, general manager of Guangdong Dongguan Humen Fumin Group Co., Ltd.

It is believed that this visit has greatly increased knowledge and will help the domestic professional market in developing the international market.

In the way of cooperation between both sides, we can consider selecting excellent domestic brand products, providing goods for local businesses, and purchasing products with unsalable products at preferential prices, so as to reduce operational risks of both sides.

Bu Xiaoqiang, President of Guangdong apparel and apparel industry association, general manager of Guangzhou red cotton international fashion city.

On the one hand, on the one hand, the concise and convenient administrative procedures of Central Asian countries such as Georgia are worthy of reference from the domestic professional market and enhance the intimate service consciousness of the market for merchants. On the other hand, China's textile and garment market has significant advantages in terms of hardware facilities, fire safety management, market site operation management and merchant brand management, etc. it can consider promoting export cooperation between the two countries by means of management output.

Xia Ling min

China's textile and garment industry has been among the best in the world in terms of its processing capacity and technology level. It has been open to the public for many years, and has promoted China's textile and garment industry to carry out international cooperation and sharing in technology, products and markets.

At present, China's textile and garment market is vigorously promoting pformation and upgrading in order to accelerate the development towards high quality. "Going out" is an important path. Especially under the "belt and road initiative", the domestic textile and garment circulation enterprises should seize the opportunity to actively utilize the excellent trade expansion foundation of Xinjiang Hualing group and so on, fully integrate overseas resources, and increase international exchanges and cooperation in production, processing, trade, brand building, and channel construction, so as to promote the pformation of their own development mode and achieve win-win development.
