Fur

The clothing is rich in color and bright, soft and plump and has a unique style. It is increasingly favored by people pursuing the natural fashion.

But after wearing clothes for a period of time, they will be affected by dirty or aging. The color and feel of clothing will change, which will affect the appearance and use.

Nursing

And wash and dye.

It is a matter of concern to consumers how to care and wash leather and fur clothing and how it will affect clothing.

1 storage and daily care

1.1 storage

Leatherwear

Fur clothing is very seasonal, and the storage time is much larger than that of wearing time. The quality of many leather fur clothing is caused by improper storage.

During storage, the following are the main points:

(1) do dry work before storage.

The main components of leather and fur products are protein, which are easy to mold. Mold is the main cause of moldy. Wet environment is the root cause of mold reproduction.

Therefore, dry leather products should be dried in a dry and ventilated environment before storage. Be careful not to be exposed directly to the sun.

(2) pay attention to clothing placement.

For a long time, do not fold the leather and fur garments in the suitcase.

If the fur clothing is folded and pressed tightly into the suitcase, it will dry and wet the skin because of the Uncirculated air, resulting in fur deformation and even hair removal.

Leather clothing folded into the box is prone to wrinkle, moldy and deformation.

In addition, the storage of leather and fur clothing needs a relatively large area. It is best to separate 10 cm space from other garments.

(3) pay attention to moisture-proof and high temperature.

Moistureproof is particularly important during storage. But clothing should be covered with a breathable cover. Do not use plastic bags to coat leather or fur for moistureproof. Otherwise, the air will not circulate, which will make the fur leather dry and wet, resulting in fur depilation and leather deformation.

1.2 daily maintenance

(1) leather clothing should be kept against sweat, rain, oil and scratch.

When leather products are stained with sweat or rainwater, they should immediately use sweat cloth or soft paper to absorb sweat and rain, wipe it with damp soft cloth, then hang and dry.

Contamination of oil not only affects the appearance of clothing, but also may cause damage to leather, affect the feel and mechanical properties, and avoid wearing oil while wearing. At the same time, do not touch perfume, cosmetics, and spray products.

The surface of leather clothing is easy to wear and wear. Therefore, it is especially important to avoid scratching. Wear and scrape as far as possible during the wearing process to prevent surface damage.

(2) in addition to careful care of leather clothing, fur clothing requires more attention in leather clothing than in several aspects.

First of all, no fur clothing should be pulled, pulled, rubbed or cut, because fur clothing is mostly small animal fur, which is more vulnerable and damaged than the ordinary leather garment. Secondly, fur clothing is easier to get wet and stain. If only the surface of the fur is wet, just grasp the underarm part of the fur lining, lift it up and shake it several times, make the surface raindrop drop, and then hang it in dry and cool place, then dry it naturally. If it is stained, clean it immediately and use clean paper towels or towels to clean it, so as to prevent stains from continuing to penetrate into the fur and clothing.

The cleaning of leather fur clothing is different from ordinary textile products. Ordinary washing methods can not be used. Most cases need to be sent to professional institutions for cleaning.

If the clothes are dirty, they are not very serious. They are simply cleaned, and they can be handled in a simple way.

Leather clothing is lightly stained with oil, and cotton cloth can be dipped into irritant and not strong washing liquid to scrub the dirt, and then ventilated to hang and dry.

Commonly used cleaning materials are alcohol, ammonia and surfactant detergent.

Fur cleaning is much more complicated. The usual method is manual rubbing and decontamination.

When kneading, add wheat bran, rice flour or talcum powder, rub it with your hands until wheat bran, rice flour or talcum are dirty, then rub it until it is clean.

2 professional maintenance

Professional maintenance generally includes three processes: cleaning, coloring and finishing.

Among them, coloring is mainly for leather products. Fur products are either professionally dyed before cutting or keeping the original color style of fur, so fur clothing is usually not involved in professional maintenance.

2.1 professional cleaning

At present, there are two ways to clean leather and fur products: manual cleaning and mechanical dry cleaning.

Manual cleaning is the removal of leather and fur products by hand.

The leather chemicals used for hand cleaning include ammonia, alcohol, acetone, various surfactants, auxiliaries, degreasing agents and solvents.

In general, leather clothing is cleaned with detergent specially used for leather cleaning. Once washed with water, it can be pferred to the next process.

Mechanical dry cleaning refers to the cleaning of leather and fur products in special dry cleaning machines for leather and leather. The main dry cleaning agents are four vinyl chloride, trichloroethylene and petroleum solvents.

Dry cleaning should be determined according to the cortex. Under normal circumstances, the temperature control is controlled at 50 degrees Celsius for 2 minutes [1].

2.2 coloring and finishing

After cleaning the leather coat, it usually needs to be coloured. It is a kind of process that is coated with leather, special material, such as pigment, resin, and so on.

Color is the key to the quality of leather clothing maintenance.

Before color is usually done, it is necessary to first mix and test colors. First, use some basic color pastes to tone out the main colors that are basically the same as those of the fur coat, then adjust the sub tones until they are very close to the color of the fur coat, and then mix with a small amount of resin. After finishing the mixture, apply the up color paste to the unconspicuous parts of the leather coat, and then observe whether the color of the painted coat is close to [2] with the color of the fur coat.

Color and color test, then color and fixation.

For the suede skin garments, the convex parts such as the elbow, the corner of the garment and the pocket of the garment are often decolorized due to frequent friction. The leather can not be colored with the slurry, and can be used to complement the color of the deer skin powder.

3 common problems in nursing and dyeing

3.1 misunderstandings of nursing

(1) never use shoe polish for leather clothing.

Some consumers feel that leather shoes can be treated with shoe polish. They believe that shoe polish has a protective effect on leather. In fact, shoe polish can not only protect leather clothing but will damage leather clothing to varying degrees.

When the shoe polish is coated on the leather side, the solvent will evaporate, leaving a thin layer of wax film to achieve the purpose of waterproofing, pest control, light protection and leather protection. The thickness of the leather coat is generally only 1/3 of that of the upper leather. The solvents such as gasoline in the shoe polish will penetrate into the leather leather, remove the tanning agent from the leather, and make the leather more effective.

Leather oil volatilized, resulting in dull color, loose color, sticky, even hardened and cracked.

(2) the use of camphor pills or sanitary balls should be cautious.

When leather raw materials are stored in storeroom, they will be sprinkled with camphor or naphthalene.

However, for consumers, leather and fur products are best not to use camphor pills, health balls and other insect repellents in the wardrobe. This kind of insect repellent will cause strong odor and hard to eliminate, and will affect the luster of clothing to a certain extent.

(3) pay attention to the frequency of cleaning.

Fur leather clothing needs proper care so that it can last for a long time.

Many people have a misunderstanding that they should be cleaned regularly every year.

In fact, cleaning too often will cause damage to clothes, and usually pay attention to maintenance, once every three or four years.

3.2 risk of washing and dyeing

The characteristics of leather fur clothing decide that there may be many risks when washing and dyeing. The national standard [3] summarizes the common risks (see Table 1), and requires the washing and dyeing operators to express their risks before accepting the washing and dyeing products.
