China is not far from the developed countries in the face of Internet economy, especially in the face of e-commerce.

We never regard ourselves as an e-commerce company. We need to build a foundation for China's future business.

In the next ten years, we will make an article on the system, logistics and data to share our resources and encourage the society.

Everyone build

Ecosphere

Ten years later, we hope that in any place in China, if we place an order online for up to eight hours, the goods will arrive at home.

The miracle of the birth of the Internet is far beyond our imagination.

Mercedes Benz Smart, the whole Asia Pacific region sells only a few hundred cars a year. Last year, it bought a group purchase on Taobao, sold 205 cars in 3 hours and 24 minutes, and sold 8000 copies in two minutes.

From Taobao's current trading volume and trading volume, I can be proud to tell you that we have surpassed Amazon and eBay, and have become the largest business circle in the world.

But this is not our achievement, which is benefited from the development and pformation of the whole Chinese economy, and benefited from the trend of the global economy from industrial civilization to information civilization.

Wiki economy, cloud computing, Internet of things, public platform, SNS, SaaS, Web3.0...

All kinds of new elements have formed the foundation for China to enter the information age.

Do not regard yourself as an e-commerce company.

The Chinese have missed several industrial revolutions, but in the face of the Internet economy, especially in the face of e-commerce, we are not far from the developed countries.

Can we seize this opportunity to catch up?

Alibaba

Today's development is the decision we made ten years ago, and what we are doing now is what we want to do next year and what we will do in ten years.

Stateside,

Electronic Commerce

It is only a supplement to the social economy, because the commercial, financial and credit systems of the United States were very developed.

But in China, e-commerce can become a major infrastructure in social and economic development.

In 2010, China's online retail sales accounted for about 2.86% of the total retail sales of social commodities.

In 2009, the data of China, the United States and South Korea were 1.9%, 6% and 13% respectively.

My judgement is that the proportion of China's online retail share will reach 15% to 20% in the future.

Internet economy

Today, we have great strategic significance, so we never regard ourselves as an e-commerce company. We feel that we need to build a foundation for China's future business.

I have discussed with Mr. Sam, chairman of WAL-MART.

Sam said that fifty years ago, they established a large number of shopping malls in the two or three tier cities of the United States, establishing warehousing systems, promoting urbanization, and stimulating the development of domestic demand in the United States.

I think China should quickly let two or three line and three or four line urban citizens own a computer.

The demand of China's three or four tier cities is very large, so that the people there can enjoy the same shopping as the first tier cities, without having to go to the first tier cities.

It is hoped that in ten years' time, in any place in China, people will be able to deliver goods to the home at the maximum of eight hours in order to form a real rural urbanization.

This requires the establishment of a modern logistics system that really belongs to the twenty-first Century.

Be a platform, not empire.

The Internet economy is a new model for anyone.

We are constantly innovating, trying to solve various problems, including online credit system, loan and so on.

No one wants to make this system better than we do.

This is what Ali people have been fighting for 11 years.

In 2009, Alibaba group 10th anniversary, we set the goal for the next ten years.

We need to provide a platform for survival, growth and development for ten million small businesses, create one hundred million job opportunities for the whole world, and provide a platform for consumption for one billion people.

Under this goal, we have long abandoned the idea of the so-called commercial empire.

Imperial thought is either you join me or I destroy you.

We will never be an empire, but a committed Market Ecosystem believers, advocating "openness, sharing and synergy".

I firmly believe that if the Internet is left with Tencent, Baidu and Alibaba, there will be no hope for China's Internet. China's Internet economy is just empty talk.

Ali group is most concerned about how to build a rich and multi-level economic ecosystem.

In the past ten years, the three mountains of e-commerce are credit, payment and logistics. In the next ten years, we will make an article on the system, logistics and data, share our resources to the community, and encourage everyone to build an ecosystem of shared prosperity.
