Urumqi Deals With Counterfeit Brand Sports Shoes

In March 7th this year, the Urumqi quality and Technology Supervision Bureau received a report that a large number of fake brand sports shoes were stored in a warehouse near urapo.

Law enforcement officers rushed to the warehouse to check, found that the warehouse is stacked with a large number of suspected international counterfeit areas of Adidas, Nike, Reebok, Sprang Di and other international famous brand sneakers.

In March 8th, the law enforcement officers once again went to the warehouse to prepare for the inspection and verification of the goods, and found that some of the goods had been pferred.

After careful searching, the law enforcement officers found the goods being pferred in another warehouse, and found more counterfeit brand sneakers.

After checking out the law enforcement officers, a total of more than 180 thousand pairs of shoes were suspected of counterfeiting the origin. They were certified and confirmed by Adidas, Nike, Reebok, Sid and other companies in China. These shoes are indeed counterfeit products of counterfeit origin, with a value of about 70000000 yuan.

The owners of these shoes began to bribe the law enforcement officers when they discovered something had come to light.

Chi Weicheng, a spokesman for the Urumqi Municipal People's government, said: "according to the provisions of the fifty-third law of the PRC on the quality of products, the Urumqi quality and Technical Supervision Bureau has confiscated 181016 pairs of fake and inferior sports shoes sold illegally, and imposed an administrative penalty of 50 million yuan below the equivalent value of the illegal sales of fake and inferior sports shoes.

Two persons involved were sent to the public security and judicial organs for handling.

At the same time, according to the statement of Xu Jiang Jian, one of the people involved, the authorities concerned seized 9 cases of sports shoes with counterfeiting real estate names in one fell swoop, with a total value of more than 640 yuan, of which two cases of crimes were pferred to the Municipal Public Security Bureau.

In August 24th, the Public Security Department of our city sent reconnaissance personnel to the so-called "origin" of the fake and shoddy sports shoes in Jinjiang, Fujian province for follow-up investigation.
