Using The Conference As A Tool To Explore Business Opportunities

Fashion shows in New York have long been the exclusive domain of celebrities for fashion magazine editors, retailers, buyers, and two fashion shows each year.

But recently, some "conservative" Wall Street people also went to the "New York Fashion Week" conference held at the Blaine Park in Manhattan. The daily Wall Street Daily reported that more and more financial analysts, investment bankers and investors came to the fashion show now. But they didn't watch the conference to catch up with fashion, but to see the future retail situation of the fashion industry early, judge the company's performance and choose the investment target.

The fashion show also gave Wall Street top executives the opportunity to meet major figures in the industry, including senior executives and buyers in the retail industry, and to observe their reaction to the conference.

Goldman received two seats for the New York fashion week as a condition for sponsorship.

Goldman spokesman did not disclose the motive of the company.

But the sponsor thinks Goldman is to give these tickets to the company's customers.

Other investment banks and private equity investors also said that the fashion show as a research tool, help to find many opportunities that may be ignored by other people in Wall Street.
